Mooring bollards widely seen on wharves and rope winches seen on boats were the inspiration to create the Cable Light Lamp. The cable is wrapped around the shade and gives an unique look to the simple but aesthetic looking shade. The metal handle on top makes sure the light is balanced and is a link to the original bollards often created from robust metal. By pulling or pushing the handle , the shade can be hinged to direct the light.
The shade is made by slip casting and finished with a matte glaze, white or black. The shade is positioned on a steel rod/ tube frame finished with a smooth powder coating.
